Things are really starting to roll along. I have spent the better part of two days answering e-mails after coming back from ICAS. The amount of support has risen dramatically.
The major sponsor will be the Department of Defense. They will be providing a major amount of support for our show and with the 100th anniversary of flight next year the celebrations will be all across the country.
Two other major sponsors are Tilbury Machining Systems First and Stonethro Studios.
I had an interview on AM800 CKLW today with 'Windsor Now' and Melanie Deveau. Hopefully it's just the start in a series of many informational sessions as we go along.
It's going to be tough keeping the enthusiasm level down. We have an excellent line up of performers and our job will be to present these aviators with the best possible attention to detail.
After the seasons' holidays we will be actively planning and setting the pace for this show. We will need plenty of volunteers so if you real want the opportunity to meet some very cool pilots, I will be posting when and where to apply.
Our website will undergo a think tank this week and work along the lines of some of the best in the industry. If we need help in any category I have several contacts from Las Vegas to Florida to Nova Scotia and beyond willing to give expert advice and not to mention the local talent right here in Windsor. I'm not here to reinvent the wheel, I'm doing my homework with the assistance of those who know.
No secrets and reduce the challenges by seeking out the wisdom of others.
There will be other blogs coming up that will contain information and comments from many looking forward to this show.
Cheers
Quote....
The fascination of flight can't be expressed with words. But it really lies beyond the capabilities of human endeavor. Once you've experienced it, you'll never be able to forget it.
